Happy Birthday shout outs go out to...my cousin Shawn (he turned four on the 4th the year I turned nine on the 9th) and to...APRIL BUNNY. who is TWELVE today. yes, I rule.
The budget meeting was pretty intense, although WAY too early. We almost doubled our funding from $500->$950 which makes me really happy even though I'm bitter that ROLLAR HOCKEY with its PUNK FIVE members used to get $1900 and now gets $1000 which is still more then us! But the curlers didn't show up--how am I supposed to fight them? punks. there was bitterness towards the equestrians (the english style--the western style didn't show up) and the syncronized skaters who NEED LIVES. rich kids suck. she was like, "we make $12,000 in fundraising every year" but like, half of it is from "anonymous donations" AKA parents. She didn't want to give us money because we're a new club...um, hi, this is our 68th year. YOU SUCK. WE'RE THE WORLD'S OLDEST MODERN SPORT. Only sport originally in the Olympics, ok? DEAL.
wow, I still haven't cried about JPII (he's like a grandfather to me) but today I couldn't finishing reading the Times because I seriously was going to. Its sad. I miss him. He was a really good person. And I'm anxious for the new guy. Who will he be?? I hope he's good...
