Whoo! Spring Break! Whoo! Its snowing.
So apparently I just don't go to class anymore. Writing was cancelled all week, French was cancelled Wednesday and Thursday due to midterms, IR was cancelled this morning, History was cut short...I just didn't have any classes this week. It was pretty crazy. I'm not complaining. Luckily my IR class was cancelled (I can use the bonus points for showing up) because while I was leaving the buliding, Mike called and needed me to help him out and then I fixed up my essay and got breakfast. Pretty sweet.
So I handed in my MAX essay. I love that class, and today's class was pretty cool too. There were only 7 of us and we were talking about globalization (of course) and Richie got into this Class of Cultures thing and I was like "yeah Huntington's Paradimes" Speaking of which! Krugman was on the Daily Show yesterday! I was freaking out because we had to read him last semester and he's really cool.
Jordan just called. We're leaving around three...so I should get home around 7? (Its a 2 and a half hour ride...) And then I'm going to try to run over to Shannon's Pub to hang out with cool fencers! hopefully! then Starbucks tonight? I'm so excited.
I'm pretty pumped up for life right now.
We were talking about the salt museum in Syracuse and my incredibly cool, nerdy, professor was trying to convince us that it was a fun way to spend the afternoon and then he said, "If you've got nothing better to do...you should move out of Syracuse." We were talking about the Erie Canal and I was all excited. Whoo Buffalo. Then he talked about how the Irish Catholics came to work on it creating a lot of tension between Catholics & Protestents. And we have to email him each week about the reading but I didn't do the reading (DAMN YOU TOCQUEVILLE) so I emailed him about how there are a lot of Catholics in Buffalo. I was like "in conclsion, Buffalo is cool". He emailed me back and said, " Yes, the canal . . . and the wings . . . and maybe the waterfall . . . but not the Bills." and I was sad.
Sadly, that was not the only email I recieved yesterday. I actually got TWO from the stalker. Why does he think that I suddenly want to hear from him? Remember when I said that I don't want to hear from him? That doesn't just mean for 5 weeks. That means FOREVER. Seriously. I don't understand why he suddenly thinks I care. Like the first one I was like "ok, its about our anthro class last semester. Maybe its just this one" But the second one was wondering if I think that US leadership or Chinese unelected leadership is better! What the hell? I don't care! Then he sent me one that was like "Its almost spring break and I'm really sad and want a girlfriend. Do you have any single friends?" And that almost made me feel bad for him. But not really. And then I got a truly CLASSIC stalker email.
once i asked the ichthyology professor how to cook a shark. he doesn't know. if i were a professor in fishery biology, besides knowledge on the anatomy, physiology, distribution, and fishery management of a fish, i could also tell how to cook it and how the taste is. how do you think?
did I mention he's a forestry student?
Speaking of which, my favorite ESFer is picking me up in a few hours so I guess I'll get ready to go!
I'll be home tonight->early Wednesday morning so please call me and hang out with me if you're home too!
This means: Briana, Brian, Phil, Meghan O, Marie, Kim, and YOU.
After that, Marie and I are shipping out to BOSTON to see Liz, Naomi, and JOHN ADAMS. I'm cool. Too bad losers are in the West Indies and are too cool to party with us!
Have a great break! I hate those of you heading to places where you don't need coats. (and those of you who can't pronounce "carnegie" who DON'T like when I call you during break. :p)
