Sooo my weekend was LOVELY.

I took the taxi to the airport and was distraught that Steve didn't pick me up--the other guy did cuz Steve had the day off. The lady at the airport was like "New York's going to be really busy later, do you want to take the one right now instead of in an hour?" and I was like "um, k" so I took the tiny little plane right then. I was chosen as a seeming terrorist and patted down. They went through my bags and made fun of my April Bunny :( just because she's not in the best shape. You suck. My Uncle Joe picked me up at the airport with the girls and when we got home he made me a drink. haha, I love my Uncle Joe. Then the girls went to bed and I watched tv until my Aunt Madeleine (my favorite aunt) came home. We hung out and had tea. It was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo lovely.

The next morning my aunt, cousin, and I went to my cousin Diana's Confirmation. (CONGRATS AGAIN DIANA!) Anyway the best part could have been when I walked in and just sat down with them and my family was like "who is...that Kelly???" hahah SURPRISE!! Or else when the Bishop said that the girls were all really beautiful but the guys were all ugly and they should remember that their mothers love them? So random!

Then we went back to Diana's and I hung out with my aunts and uncles. Making fun of Dutch people is good fun, as seen in this true example:
Suzy: I've met 3 random Dutch people since I've been here!
Uncle: it used to be full of Dutch people, until the British kicked them out.
Other Aunt: yea, New Amsterdam!
Suzy: I wonder what happened? Did they get paid well for it?
Uncle: no, I think the Brits just showed up with a couple guns and said "get out"
Other Uncle: and they just left??
Another Aunt: That's the Dutch way!
Suzy: that's what I would have done!
(get it? because she's DUTCH!)
Or how about this?
Suzy: Richie knows a lot more Dutch then he lets on. Like, he knows "Flicker Zee ott" it means...
Everyone: I think we know what it means!
(its a cognante...Dutch is not a real language...and its even MORE of a real language then Flemish)

RANDOM DUTCH FACT: The Dutch Santa Clouse doesn't live in the North Pole--he lives in Spain! And he doesn't have elves--he has little black kids!!!

Thank you Dutch people for being more random (and horrible) for words.

Then since my 8 year old cousin is reading "Titanic" we rented the movie and watched it. God, its AWFUL. AWFUL!! (yes Liz, I know you've still never seen it)Bridget sat in my lap the whole time cuz she's the baby, but was tramatized about the death (we covered some scenes) and we ate pizza. I MISS BUFFALO PIZZA.

Does anyone remember when car phones were cool?? And rich people had them?? And we were all like "we don't need those, we have one at home!! When did they become so big and stupid?

Saturday Night Live = Comedy Gold.

Alexis just said "I have no lost my marching-band watching virginity"

This morning Bridget woke me up saying "Remember when the captain died? THAT WAS SO SAD!" then I took the train back here and then did math all afternoon. God, it was so great to be around my family this weekend. No matter how random and funny it was. I feel so grown up traveling by myself.

I MISS YOU GUYS AND LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!

(sometimes there are people in silly marching band uniforms in my room)

off to church I go!! yay for hour and a half long 9:30 masses...
