Ok so I just finished filling out my absentee ballot and it felt darn good. I just had a couple of things to say...and not even about what you think I'm going to say (because that's a given) but about the less publicized races...

So I got a letter from Judge Deborah Haendiges of the Erie County Family Court. It seems she would be honored to have my vote and she's trying to gain my support. Then she signs her name and underneath it says
"The ONLY Family Court Judge on the ballot this year"
does this strike anyone else as odd? It made me so angry I would have voted against her...if there had been an opponent running!!!!!

Also my mom called and said I got a letter from a state senator saying that they really wanted my support while I voted from my ABSENTEE BALLOT. She sent this to my HOUSE. Ok, so I understand that some people might need absentee ballots at home, but if these other candidates are able to get my dorm address then why the hell can't she?? She does not deserve to represent me where ever the hell she wants to represent me.

Mary Lou Rath also wanted me to vote for her, but she's a Republican...and no offense to any Republicans but I decided to look up Frank J. Longo to find out how he feels about life. Turns out he lives on Elmwood in Kenmore and is a Democrat!! And Mary Lou Rath thinks our economy's really great. So guess which way I voted?

oh yes, and...

VOTE FOR JOHN KERRY AND JOHN EDWARDS!!!

But most importantly please vote. Thank you!

p.s. words cannot express how deep my hatred is for calculus 295. or George W. Bush.
