HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIANA!!

This has been a great weekend! (Mostly because I suddenly had a friend!)

Let's see. Friday night Becca and I hooked up with some Shaw girls (Alexis and Jen) and were going to go see the hypnotist. Sadly, he is not until next week (when I'll be home) so instead we decided to go see Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory on the Quad. We were joined by Becky and Sarah who were really cool--they are actual people who we could actually hang out with who are like our friends back home (same with Alexis and Jen) and so it was wonderful. I also hadn't seen the movie in a really long time. If you haven't seen it recently you should see it again. Its really funny and I got a lot of things I missed last time. It was great. Then Becca took a picture of our friends (so that we could prove we had friends) and then we went back to our room to do homework and go to bed early.

Saturday I woke up early and went to find the bus to take me to the train station. I didn't know where the bus would pick us up, but I figured that since it said on the map where it had the line of where the bus started "WAVERLY AVE in front of BYRD LIBRARY" that I should be on Waverly Ave in front of Byrd Library where there was a centro sign. So after the bus was 10 minutes late, the girls I was waiting with and I called the station. They said it was on the other side of Byrd Library. Of course. I should have known. So then I called Kim and I felt really bad because I was going to be terribly late. An hour later (I spent the time reading for homework and getting sunburned) I took the bus to go get KIM!!! It was SOOO wonderful to see her again!! I was soooo happy!! Then we walked over to the Carosel Mall which is really big and really fun. We chatted and ate food (she had never had Arbys!) and then we got smoothies and talked and walked around. We saw a lot of pig stuff, but we decided not to buy any for Erik on account of we didn't feel like it. But we definitely thought about it. We looked at a lot of stuff and eventually bought matching scarf/hat combos (mine, orange of course) from Forever 21 and then we hung out somemore until we decided to catch the bus back to campus. I showed her around my BEAUTIFUL campus a little and then I showed her the stairs. When we got up here she met Becca and then we probably all went to dinner together. And we hung out. And then we went to Starbucks. It was really fun. I think we scared Becca a little but it was really fun. Then we went to the Pita Pit for Coke products (because Becca hates Pepsi lol--JK!!) and then we went back to the room where we hung out until we fell asleep.
Sunday we woke up early because I was supposed to meet someone for church in the morning, but she overslept so Becca, Kim, and I had breakfast together and that was nice and then I went to church. The Bishop (of the diocese of Syracuse) was there to bless Moore House so it was pretty crazy. I mean, I used to party with the Bish all the time but since Bish Mansell left I haven't had a Bish in about 9 months so it was crazy to be with a Bishop again! But it was a party. Jordan was also there but I did not get a chance to talk to him--but we did wave to each other at Communion. Then I went back and took Kimberloo to lunch at the dining hall and we were hanging out and I realized I had an email from my math professor saying she was upset with me because our homework was due later that day and I hadn't even started it and I should have started it a week ago and I was like (in the words of Becca) "what the crap? I totally started it" so I looked and I had been doing the wrong one. I got really angry and I had to sit there and do them and I felt bad. Then I emailed the professor to tell her thank you and I wasn't a total slacker, just a moron. She said "ok see you Wednesday" Anyway then I showed Kim around the campus and showed her the stores and stuff around campus and we did something secret and then we went to Schine where we found lots of fun stuff including a pair of blue and orange SU pants to complete the perfect outfit for next weekend. Then we sat out on the Quad and did nice things for people. There was a baby and it was screaming and I thought it was a goat (I didn't see it) and I was like "is that a goat? no! its a baby! It sounds like its bleating" and since I say "bleating" like the word "bleeding" we decided it would not be as hilarious if it were "bleeding". Then the baby (and its mother) walked back and forth behind us causing Kim and I to laugh to hard we were falling over. It was terribly funny. Then we headed back up to my room to hang out (Becca was at Juice Jam and then she went to the state fair with marching band) and when we got hungry around like 8 or 9 we went down to Marshall St. for Pitas. It was really hard ordering pitas. We told the lady we didnt have them where we came from and she said that there's one in Buffalo. Kim said "oh, we don't get out much" I think the lady was lying. lol. Anyway the pitas were very good and then we discussed important topics and sent out emails. Then Becca came back and we decided to have movie night by watching Teen Girl Squad and then Dirty Dancing. We all fell asleep (pretty much) during Dirty Dancing so we'll try again some other time. lol. I really want to see it, I swear!
Monday we woke up early and grabbed a bagel at the dining hall. Then we walked down to the church where we got free tickets to the state fair. We got a ride with a nice random church lady who wasn't even going to the fair and it was really fun. We enjoyed it and ate much. And saw lots of the world's biggest animals. Sadly there were NO LLAMAS. There was a sign that said "Llamas" but there were none. WHERE ARE THE LLAMAS???? Also we found the Conservative Party, the Right to Life, the GSA (we got "Embrace Diversity" buttons!) and some other stuff but were unable to find John Kerry. Kim was an anchorperson! We ate lots of food. We saw pigs (OINK!) and lots of fun stuff. It was a good time. Sadly, there is not a pride of New York. We went in there and it was only empty cages. Perhaps the pride of NY is hay. Or manure. Or empty cages of hay and manure. Either way, I envied Kim for moving out of state. We also saw lots of stuff and it was really fun. Then the lady picked us up and drove us back up to the Mount. That was very nice of her. She was nice. Oh yea, and there was a nun in a habit and it was nuts. And our friend Steve! He wanted to be our friend! He thought we were funny. Probably funny looking.
We got dinner to go and hung out for awhile. Then Becca came back and was like "I thought you left" so then I took Kim to go get her taxi and the guy was like "I'll be there in 25 minutes" and then we went back and Becca came back again and was like "what the crap?" she didn't really say that, but its the new hot phrase and I really like it. I bet she thought that anyway, even though she's really nice. If she had gone to Kenmore West she would have been in our group. Then the cab guy called and said he was there so Kim left and I was sad. So I went online. And then I went to my floor meeting. And then I was elected...
THE DAY HALL SEVENTH FLOOR UPTOWN PRESIDENT.
Yes, that's right. Its a prestigious honor! I was elected by beating the girl I hate most on my floor by two votes. Most of those votes because they hate her. Matt B from Hamburg is the Downtown President. I was going to join Daymocracy (the Hall board) anyway, so I might as well have a reason to be there. I'm pretty excited. Liz said it was because I'm popular. I know that that's a lie. Kim will tell you that its not my fault that I have no friends--its just that our room is cursed--no cable, no phone line (out--Maurri just called me again!) no parties...lol. and no friends. We were misplaced and should have been placed in Shaw. But that's ok.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIANA!! You are the best person in the world and I hope you have a wonderful day! I miss you a lot and you are so great. I hope this year is even more wonderful than the last and that you stay as awesome as you are for always. Taz says happy birthday too.
Mary McGrath: King...and that's all there is to say except Clown, in FRONT of you, Delta Sonic, Jim, and all of them, math class, Jarosz's math class, American girl dolls, Pepsi parties, porcelin dolls, Let's play baseballPOW!, and everything else that can easily take up a yearbook page to write. I miss you!
I would like to thank Kim for coming here and making my weekend great! You are so awesome and I can never thank you enough! Here are a list of things that I can think of now: where are the llamas, where's Kerry?, anchorwoman, do you like anyone? he's the female..wait! he's the female ___shoot!!, seeing that kid at the mall, smoothies, who's the most popular >:(, Kelly thinks you-reoh...INTERNET STYLE! the goatbaby, me with a mustache, sad or so sad, the haiku, "oh, I was going to say you were a nerd" (about the Byrd library) "what about aardvark?" "Kim, what did i say about correcting me in public?" and um, some other things that I will say when I remember. I love you Kim! Thank you SOOOO MUCH for coming and I hope that you had a good time!!
And for those of you who are bored:

This is a really funny article in the Daily Orange (DO) which everyone should read
and this is a really funny cartoon you should all watch even though I LOOOVE Starbucks.

Leave me comments or I'll just shut this down and move to LJ where I have 39 comments which is really dumb because I want at LEAST 42!! lol...PLLLLEASE?

Quote of the week (unofficial) by Dave Barry:
The Democrats haven't totally gotten over pining for Bill [Clinton]. Remember when you were in high school, and you really wanted to go to the prom with a gorgeous girl, but you couldn't ask her because she was really popular and already had served two terms as president of the United States, so you wound up asking John Kerry? That's the situation the Democrats are in now.

p.s. YOU may go to a party school if:
+the race for condom King and Queen of your hall is more animated and more competative then the race for president of your hall
+you have a condom king and queen designated to hand out 1 condom a day to people of need...
you may go to a party school.
