Well well well...
yesterday I watched Unsolved Mysteries and then took the AlcoholEdu required online course for party schools AKA Syracuse. It was deathly boring. I actually only did the first 4 chapters and then my computer shut down and I didn't care. Blah. Highlights are: "23% of the people drink 85% of the alcohol" and "you may laugh at the commercials, but the beer companies laugh all the way to the bank!" I wanted to die. So instead I had a conversation about thighmasters.
Then I sat around and had to fix my hotel in London because appanrently Essex is 2 hours away so my Aunt's gonna have her friend just get us a new hotel and we'll just trust this random lady.
Then I went to Mark's party, then I went to fencing. Dear Fencing, what are you going to do without us? Can't you see that Joel is just Kevin McMahan in a stupid costume?? Love, Me. Dear Brian "Golden Shoes" the Repub, you are a cold, heartless man with no friends and you and Peter Fox should be lovers. I told your mother on you. Love, me.
Then we went back to Mark's party. That's when people started showing up. Highlight:
WE MET THE INFAMOUS CALEN!!!! Awesome. (Well, you know I already knew my homie)

Anyway today I hafta say goodbye to everyone because I'm leaving tomorrow. I'll miss each and every one of you, but I want a comment while I'm gone!! I'll send postcards!!

Tuesday, July 20, 2004

This is really freaky. Check it out. Uncle Tony sent it to me!

Yesterday was nice. I feel dumb but after I broke my phone that my Daddy gave me, I also thought that I had lost the camera that he gave me and I felt really bad. I had nightmares all night and I finally woke up at 10:30 and then I figured it would be possible to call Erik. Unfortunatly he was still asleep, but luckily he said that BRIANA HAS MY CAMERA!! YAAAY!! That was a start to a good day!

Then my mom saw that I was up and asked if I wanted to go to Target and my first thought was I had to go to buy a new cheap camera bc that was the only plan I was able to come up with so that I could go to sleep, but I didn't need to! However, I DID need to go buy film and presents for exchange students so I decided to go. I saw Briana and her babysitting charge (they were going to tie dye!! AWESOME!) and Dan Orleman. It was nuts. Then we went home and went to the doctor.

Turns out I have weather oriented asthma. woot. Way to go away, cough! Plus I got some shots and then I had to go in for blood work but it was closed so we went home.

After dinner and final planning for my trip, I was sitting at the computer and a certain red truck pulled up!!! I hopped in and we took off for food and fun. Kinda. We ended up visiting Brian's grandma in the hospital and hanging out at his house. Then we got into Luke's truck, got Mia, and went to see I, Robot. It was surprisingly good. I actually liked it! Then I stole my Brian away from Luke (bwahahahaha) and then he took my Brian away :( Oh well.

I like this font, but it doesn't carry over to when the blog is published. That's sad.

I need to watch unsolved mysteries now.
I love my Daddy!!

Could you all do me a favor please? Could you all please pray for my friend Jose? I just found out...he's having the worst time of his life and I feel awful. Jose is one of the best, nicest, holiest people in the entire world and nobody should have that happen to them-least of all Jose. Please pray for him and if you know Jose ask me about him and I'll tell you, but its too sad to say so please just keep him and his family in your prayers. God bless Jose's family. Poor Jose. :(

Also please pray for Brian's grandmother. She's in the hospital. Thanks.

But in good news, my font is cool and I have colors and stuff again! Sweet.

Also, today was Brian's party. It was a lot of fun. I think we all know that the best highlight was when Brian's parents gave him his big graduation/birthday present: a little something that looks alittle like this and it was really hot!! His parents gave him alittle box and inside it was a key and he had to walk around looking and trying it in all the cars until he found it. It was brutal, but I think it payed off. Awesome. My favorite part is that now he can come visit me!!! :) At SU! yay!

Another highlight was when we were getting food and Brian's grandpa poked Dana to get her moving in line and she thought it was Mike or Mark and punched him in the stomach. And it was his birthday. Hahahaha, it was SOOOO funny! He was like "She jumped! and squealed! And hit me!!" Aw, Brian's grandpa!!

And then Liz and I were playing Secret Agent with Steve's little sister Mary and Haylie and we were girls and all boys were bad and then Steve came and attacked Mary and then we went to save her and then this little boy who was seriously like a foot tall came running over and he was like, our main enemy and then he kinda ran into Steve and then the little boy started limping and I was like "oh no! You have a booboo??" and everyone kinda huddled around him, especially Steve, and the little boy was rubbing his leg and showing us his booboo and then turned around and punched Steve in the face!!!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't have a boo boo at ALL!!!!! And he did it like 3 more times! He would pretend to be hurt and then he would punch anyone who came to his aid!! Like he died in our game and we went to kinda try and save him, and he started kicking and punching!! Then he and Haylie were climbing on the log and the boy turned to Liz and said, "that was rabbit poop" on the log, and we thought it was funny. Then he said to Liz, "a rabbit pooped on YOU!!" and we were like "ouch!!" and then he said "I pooped on you!" and Liz turns to me, and to the people coming up and was like "that little boy is sooo mean!" and then they were like "time to go home, son!" It was so funny!!! Crazy little boy!!

And then there was our buddy Cory!! When it started raining he was like "Sheesh, settle down up there, God!" It was so cute! He was like, the bartender type person and he was 5. He described himself as a "friendly relation" of Brians.

Anyway...yesterday was the CampFire car wash and that was actually pretty fun--I was and forever will be the official rim cleaner!! Then we went to Emily's house for pizza and then I went home and slept and I picked up my brother and then went back home and slept some more. Sometimes I have bad days and it doesn't really matter who I'm with or what I'm doing, they're just bad days and they make me cry. Yesterday was one of those days, as was the day before, and that's why I didn't really feel like doing stuff, so sorry. It goes away after I get a lot of sleep...and my PMS wears out....lol...yea.

Today we took Richard Kennedy to Mass because we took his sister last week. I talked to Janet and Mrs. Seel and Martin afterwords (that's how I found out about Jose--I guess my backstreet-boys email doesn't work too well, so from now on email me at Cheese2@fencingmail.com please.) Then we went to Manhatten Bagel then to Brian's.

Now I would like to play around with this new format that blogger has set up for me. I would also like to say that I got a very cute email from a very cute (not really) French boy (my own personal French boy) and it was cute and meaning that he wants to be my friend:

Salut

Alors tu telephones quand tu es a Bruxelle
en donnant (s' il te plait ) :
- l' heure d' arrivee de ton train
- le numero du train

Tres important : les TGV ne sont jamais a l' heure
c' est comme ca ( stupid hight speed trains )

a bientot
Elric
The best part of it is that he spoke, randomly, in English. Because when we first see each other we're like "I hate you" and then we get friendlier and then he comes alittle closer (you know how like if you see a wild animal and you want to feed it and it comes closer and closer?) and he does three things before you're buddies again:
1) He shows me something, randomly, without me asking him, that means alot to him (when he first came here, we didn't talk and then he randomly showed me this adorable picture of his family! and when I was at his house, after we bonded, he showed me his fencing stuff!)
2) He says something really stupid and random to me to make me laugh about who he hates (we were walking down Delaware and I was talking and blabbing on and he didn't have anything to say and he turns to me, out of the blue, and said "you know who I hate?" and I was like "who?" and he was like "THE SWISSE!!! They talk so slowly and they are like "hello....I...am...a...Swwwiiiiissseee" and I was like WHAT?? WHO DOES THAT?? And he turned to me in France and was like "Je detest Madame--je voudrais faire de l'escrime avec elle--SANS LES MASQUES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I was like "OH MY GOD!!"
3) He says something randomly to me in English. (the swiss thing here because we only spoke english pretty much here and there he said something to me, I forgot what, in English and I had been there for FIVE DAYS and NO ONE outside of his grandfather and the Americans and teachers had spoken to me in English and I was like "PARLEZ- VOUS ANGLAIS???" And he was like "shut up!!" hahhaa, yay Elric!!

Ok, random lesson in Elric. I would like to post a picture of Elric....now.
Also, this is who I will soon have a child with.
And this is what Liz wouldn't let me buy in Belgium (but she won't be with me this time!)
And this is another good memory of the French Exchange.

Um, I'm done....yea. Hope all is well with all of you! How ARE you all, anyway?
**INTERVENTION! THIGHMASTER!!**

I love my Daddy! A lot.

Shoot. I just deleted everything. That's the first time that's happened!
I don't like this new format!!
Shoot.
ok well yesterday I went to guitar and I was driving and I turned the wrong way. Awesome, you see I've never been to Becky's house before. Just because I've been going there once a week for the past 6 years and before then I've gone there all the time because she was my babysitter, church musician, and she was there when my parents met...and when I was born we lived on Woodward...and um, I've never been there before.
And on the way home I didn't get into the turning lane and we decided to go home down Delaware. Darnit, I WANTED to go that way.
It was awesome though because while Liz was having her harp lesson I read Club Documents. By far the best part of the club rules was:
"Never mention the name of such vile creatures as je-nny wi-lson, ry-an co-x, d-ag-as-ti-no, or er-ic gr-ant"
Awesome. Then I decided to read the BEST play EVER WRITTEN:
"stroke...stroke...stroke...stroke..."
"My arms are so sore! We've been rowing since the break of dawn and we only braked for lunch"
"Even the Olympics can't be this hard!"
"I agree!"
"I second the motion"
"QUIET!! Stroke...stroke..stroke..stroke.."
"Look out!"
"AHHHHHHH!"
And...
"huh?"
"There once was a boy who was rude to his kind and gentle mother. She slapped him. The moral of this story is if you can't say anything intellegent, don't say anything at all."
"Wierd. Definetely wierd."
And..."Hiya Queenie!" and "Stay close to the light, his name may be trecherous!" and "The olymics...GREECE!!" and "Last I knew it was 1998!" (updated from 1996) and "I throw this hat from me to thee!" (etc.)
AWESOME. MarKeLizChel forever!
Anyway then I went to Brian's house where I played around online until we went to his grandparents with Matt and Luke for Brian's birthday. Sometimes boys sit around for hours and hours and days and days and weeks and weeks on end just playing the same game (Diablo II in this case) and they pretend its more fun then gossiping.
Its not.
After hanging out with the guys (Steve was there when we got back) I decided to steal Lyndsey away and go to girls night at Kim's where Liz and I ALMOST won, but we definetly kicked some group charades butt at Cranium. "Derby" and "thighmaster" and "pocketprotector" for instance.
Wait, there was a funny thing that either Marie or I said and Christina, you said it should be a quote. What was it? If anyone ever remembers something funny that was said anywhere, I could post it as a quote of the week over the summer, ok?
Also, I would really like letters for Elric before I leave on Thursday? Thank you!
I'd also really like to see Dana before then too!
Brian's party is on Sunday so see if you can all go, alright? Its birthday/graduation and its at the firehall so it'll be fun. BE THERE.
This morning I woke up and I missed some of Unsolved Mysteries! But from what I watched, I didn't hold the key. :( Some of it was nice miracles and stuff and I like those because they're really cool. This one time though there was a guy who was dating this girl and her exhusband tried to kill him and had a friend and the boyfriend was selling his house and some guy came to look at the house, but he was really just a spy for the exhusband!! I told that to my aunt today who was selling her house.
Then my mom and I went to the bank to copy Liz and make an account for when I'm in college and to deposit my graduation money. I'm telling you, this graduation thing is a good deal! I got a free portable cooler!! It was either that or a smoothie maker. It was a really tough deal.
Do you think I made the right choice?
Rod Stewart is really gross and I hated him when I was younger and he's still nasty.
Then we went to AAA...Ok so we're gone for 16 days, right? And I was supposed to plan everything on mainland Europe and all my mom had to do was plan England and Ireland. I even did the transportation there and back and all around AND the chunnel. And then I did London too...so she decided that since we leave Thursday she needed help planning Ireland. Whatever. They didn't even help all that much so I'll just do it tomorrow. Its all good.
Then we went to the DMV to get my brother one of those books so he can get his permit (in October) and the lady totally thought it was for me!! I was so mad!! I was like "I've totally got my license! I've had it for like, you know, forever!" lol.
My mom- I'd like a permit book for my son.
Lady--ok! *smiles at me and winks*
My mom- thank you
me- thank you, for my brother!
Lady--you're welcome! *smiles at me*
NOT COOL.
Oh yea, random good news! We're going to be in Amsterdam for Gay Pride Days!! Um...and I have read in multiple books that there is a prominent gay community in Amsterdam...its gonna be kinda crazy! (I just thought of that because its the Simpsons episode where Homer thinks Bart's gay)
Then we went to Linens and Things for Dorm Stuff--I WISH I KNEW MY ROOMMATE!!! But I bought two of those pillows that Phil Getmans sister has. MMM....pillow.
Then we went to the mall to buy presents for French and Brussels people. The lady at the Disney store said "would you like a gift reciept?" and I was like "not unless you have a store in Brussels, Belgium" and she was like "um...I don't think so. Why, is that where you're from??" And I felt cool but then I was like "no, I'm bringing it to my friend there." Didn't find much. Any suggestions for Elric's family?
"Doesn't John seem a little festive to you?"
"couldn't agree more!"
"Listen to me closely Homer, John enjoys the company of men."
"Who DOESN'T??"
"Homer, John is a ho...mo..."
"right"
"Sexual."
"omygodomygodomygodomygod!!!!"

"...they ruined all the good names like Bruce and John and Julian..."
isn't that Mr. Weber's name?

Then we went out to my cousin's house. He lives at my Grandma's house and I haven't been there in two years, since she died. I was going to get my stuff from the estate
like some Norman Rockwell paintings and some old books and some army uniforms that fit me surprisingly well and some stuff for college and it was pretty nice to see it. He's made it a lot better. I miss my Grandma though. And my Grandpa. He died 10 years ago!! Jeez it didn't seem that long. (My cousin=burping kid)
Then I went to visit my daddy and broke my phone and had a major freak out. I haven't had many major freakouts since april, but...it was a big one. It was bad.
I just miss my Daddy more then I could possibly express to anyone. I just really really want my Daddy back. I love my Daddy and I MISS HIM SO MUCH.
But I thank God that I had the best daddy in the world.

Then we stopped by my Aunt's house for some sheets and stuff for my dorm room and now I'm home. Brian had to clean his house all day and yea...
I'm gonna go.
bye.

Thursday, July 15, 2004

woot.
now I've forgotten what I've done.
Ok well Tuesday I got up to watch Unsolved Mysteries (I didn't hold the key) and then Christina, Kim, Alex, and Liz came over to dye my hair (the tips) green for Brian's birthday present. We ended up dying a lot of things more green then my hair (the towel, my neck, Liz, Alex's hair, my bathtub, my sink thing...) but it still looks sweet so thanks guys! We also added highlights to Christina's hair. Then we decided we needed Starbucks and they were out of Venti and it ruined my life!! Dan met us there then I drove Alex home and Liz drove Christina home and it took her 45 FREAKING MinUTES! And we were all freaking out (We= Dan, Kim, Me)
Dan- Oh my God...I hope Christina's ok...I love her so much...
Kim- I hope Liz is ok!!!
Me- I hope they're BOTH ok you lousy excuses for friends!!

haha something like that.
Eventually she came back (just as we were about to go out looking for her bloated corpse)and we went home and then headed over to fencing. I drove all by myself! woot!
At fencing Liz and I were instructed to teach the beginners. Not even the regular beginners...but the remedial beginners. It was a lot of fun and we only got to deal with nice cool people and it was stuff we knew and we told stories about Steve and we even may have gotten a job prospect? Sweet. Good day.
Then we had a meeting, which wasn't as much fun---WHAT IS THE CLUB GOING TO DO WITHOUT US??? Yea.
Then we went to Phil's to play cards and I went to pick up Dan Bostaph and I ended up having to buy gas. good times! We didn't end up playing much cards, we ended up talking more.
Wednesday I woke up and watched Unsolved Mysteries. I didn't hold the key but I was sufficiently scared out of my mind when my dear Robert Stack was like "Every year people go off to college...and sometimes they never come back. Take this girl, April something, she went off to Syracuse University..." I was like "AHHH!!" So I did a search for "Unsolved Mysteries" "April" and "Syracuse University" (after I checked Unsolved Mysteries website) and found this article about her so I guess she was a townie and it was her parents' next door neighbor who killed her and it wasn't just a random Syracuse death and the guy became really guilt-ridden and surrendered to the police when they asked him something about Unsolved Mysteries.
Police- hey, random next door neighbor of April Gregory who used to tell everyone you were dating when in fact you were just stalking her, would you mind if I sent a random tape in to unsolved mysteries? (you may hold the key)
Killer- I KILLED HER AND BURIED HER IN MY BACKYARD AND THEN FELT BAD A YEAR LATER AND UNBURIED HER AND CUT HER INTO PIECES AND BURIED THE PARTS AROUND MY HOUSE AND WHEN MY PARENTS ASKED ABOUT THE SMELL I SAID IT WAS THE GARBAGE AND THEN POURED PERFUME ON THE BODY PARTS.
Police- oh, um then you're under arrest?

The mystery was who killed her, but also that some random girl in CA Tech University got kidnapped at like, the exact same time.

Anyway then I drove around doing errands like dropping off the posters from the party to KT and Jessy and then I got my pictures from Walgreens (I'll post them soon) anyway good times.
Then I spent the ENTIRE REST OF THE DAY planning for my trip in Europe. I hope this doesn't sound too snotty but EVERY BED AND BREAKFAST IN IRELAND IS THE SAME!!! Also, every hotel in Ashford, Kent, England is FULL. Well, not really, I got one, but blahhh. Also, every hotel in Amsterdam is EXPENSIVE!! I also got Eurorail passes and Eurostar (Chunnel) passes. It was fun. I ended up going crazy so I tried to find someone to hang out with but since Brian's birthday was pushed back again my plans fell through so I started redoing my lawn and then Christina, Liz, and Marie came over and then I stopped by Brian's to watch him open presents then we went to Marie's for girls night to watch Ever After and then Kim came over.

This morning I peatmossed and put grass seed on the entire lawn and its good now. Except that its raining but I don't want to do it again! Then I watched Unsolved Mysteries (I didn't hold the key)

I love my Daddy!

I have some very very important information I need to tell you all about right now. Ok, you see Brussels, Belgium is the hottest place in the entire world and we've always known this but I must say:
oh my God.
My history with Brussels goes back many many years to the Great War. Actually, it was World War II when my Grandpa was stationed in Belgium. He saw a little statue there called the Mannekin Pis (get it? wee treasure??). He thought it was awesome (read: hilarious) so he bought a little statue which then sat on his desk as a paperweight while he was the local doctor (he was Mr. Newcomb's doctor!) Comforting, huh? I guess he had a whole bunch of Mannekin stuff too.
I love my Grandpa.
The mannekin pis means "peeing statue" and one time there was a King of Belgium and he had a son who was the Prince of Belgium. One day the prince disappeared and the king was really worried so he told everyone to go out and find him and wherever he was found, there would be a statue erected (shut up) to him. When he was found, he was peeing
So they made a statue.
And its really a fountain.
And they dress him up and that's my dream job and it pees water, but on special occasion it pees wine.
AWESOME.
Back to my history:
When we told Ms. Widman that we might go to Belgium, she decided she had a secret she had to tell us. She didn't want to (she thought it was obcene) but we dragged it out of her.
Liz and I were excited about going!!
We didn't go Brussels though :( we went to Bruges.
Bruges was the best place in my life, but...it was no peeing boy.
In Bruges there were lots of special Mannekin Pis souviners. Some Liz thought were so crude that I wasn't allowed to buy them.
You suck Liz.
I took pictures though. And I bought a shirt with it on it, and a keychain of it for myself and for my Daddy and I bought the world's greatest cards with a different costume on each card.
For my birthday I got the Mannekin Pis statue from my Aunt that was my grandfathers'. She told me it meant the most to me. Out of 30 cousins, I'm the sweetest.
My screen saver is hot and is about le mannekin. Its amazing. Download it. I have a screen saver where a little boy pees triumphantly to music. Could I be cooler? No.
And now I'm going to visit my friend Maria in Brussels and today we were talking about how we're going to have dinner and maybe shop there. And she said that she would take me to see the Mannekin Pis.
Needless to say, I was excited.
But then she said to me:
I HEAR THERE'S A GIRL SQUATTING STATUE TOO.
But now it turns out that there is a GIRL MANNEKIN PIS!!!!!!!
OH MY GOD!!!
It turns out her name is Jeanette Pis I CAN'T BELIEVE I LIVED MY LIFE NOT KNOWING THIS.
She was made in 1985ish by like feminists? I guess? And she's really controversial? And the tourism office refuses to acknowledge her existence. We need to do something about this?
I guess she's on a back street near le Grand Place, but she's LOCKED UP???? Whoa man.
What's with this? I don't know.
I just thought y'all might want to know.
Also: Belgium= Belgian chocolate + Belgian Waffles + French Fries were invented there. Awesome.

Maria is awesome. She was baptized by the Pope.
I'm going to see the Mannekin Pis July 26 so...12 days?
How am I going to make it????
Also, Liz and Phil broke up.
And Christina and Dan did/didn't/did/didn't?
And Sarah thinks she's too good to hang out with us. Shot down us.
Update about my day tomorrow. I'm too excited to remember it.
I love my Daddy.
ps--my hair is green

pps- GOD BLESS AMERICA. I mean...Belgium. What?

Yesh, I haven't written in awhile!
Lesse, Saturday we went to Phil's party in Williamsville and that was cool to see everyone. Like we haven't seen Chels in awhile so that was nice. Amanda Webster was there too and that was cool. Everyone else was cool too. lol. What else did I do Saturday? I don't remember. But after the party Kim, Christina and I were going to do the catch up Kim gossip session that didn't happen Friday night but then Erik called and wanted us to come over there and since it was his birthday we did so. Good times.
Then Sunday morning-BRIAN'S BIRTHDAY!- we went with Christina real early to the 7:30 mass and then my mom and I went parallel park partying until 9 when we went to Erik's house and then we went to Allegheny. It was funny because my Uncle Billy called me which was funny because it said "Restricted Number" so I thought it was Brian's family but it wasn't. Good times again. So it was Eriana, Brian and me in the one car and then Mark, Mike, Luke, Kim, and Christina in the other car. Allegheny was really really fun. Thanks so much Erik for having us! We went to the beach and had a lot of fun--until the boys came in the water. lol. stupid boys. Best part was when Brian became covered in seaweed and everyone was staring and people asked him for pictures and he smelled really bad and we were all like "its his birthday!" and the girls just sat there and gossiped for 800 years. It was fun. Then we went back and had a joint bday party for Erik and Brian and there was a lot of really good food. Awesome. We played some games ("it has to do with your major...35mm...gun?") and the girls kicked some major butt! and uh then Mark, Luke, Kim and Christina left and we played some games ("you can't keep Dick down!!" hahaha as much as I hate Mike, I also love him sometimes. Especially when he's a raccoon.) Then we went spotlighting and we saw raccoons and deer and an adorable fox! He was a kitty cat! Speaking of kitty cats...that'll be later. Also there was this cop guy following us and Erik pulled over and was like "lets pull over and pretend to look at something interesting" so Briana shown the spotlight and there was a deer! it was awesome.
Then when we went back we got ready for bed and I was closest to the stairs and while everyone was about asleep I saw a little animal I thought looked like a kitty on the stairs right next to me and I sat up straight and Brian was like "are you ok?" and I was like "I think there's something on the stairs..." and no one believed me and then Erik got up and got a flashlight and found...this little guy walking closer to him. I didn't freak. Later I felt something on my feet and I decided not to look, Mike said it was him (he was all the way across the porch) so for once, that's the less scary answer and I'm going to pretend that's ok! I was good. I fell asleep. Anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRIAN! I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!
This morning we woke up and didn't do much. We finally found my mom around 11 and she took us home. The boys in the back (Mike and Brian were having some crazy competitions. I got 75 points because I hit some road kill (it was already dead, but it still looked whole. Ew.) but I still lost. Then we stopped at the Macdo in Springville and Dara Gallegher was randomly the cashier there!
Then I went home and at 2 o'clock I had my road test.
I had the dude, in Tonawanda. He checked my inspection and said its due soon, he checked my mom's license and she passed. Then we went out and turned right and went straight until the light where I turned right again. I turned right again the next block and parallel parked a car next to a church handicapped place and then I did a three point turn and went back to the original spot. When I got back I thought I did ok, and he was like "are you nervous??" because I was kinda freaking like I have been all week and I was like "yea" and he was like "you shouldn't be--you passed" and I was like "oh my God! thank you! really?" and he was like "yea, not only that but you got a perfect score--I wish everyone could be like that! you may have done something wrong, but I didn't see anything" and I was like "sweet" because I think its only because I asked him if he wanted air conditioning and he was like "oh my God yes!" and my mom had an umbrella. And he had a Buick too. Sweet. so now I can drive!
So I went home and made cookies (18 and a big heart) for Brian's birthday and I talked to Liz on the phone and then I was taking the cookies out and I burned my fingers and ruined the heart cookie. Its kinda fixed. Then I took Brian out (I DROVE) for his birthday- we went to Tullys and stuffed our faces. mmmm. Then I did a U turn and we went back to his house to watch Love Actually but Lyndsey had a tv and didn't want to watch it so we watched a horrible movie called "The Good Son" which was EXTREMELY messed up. Has anyone seen it?? Its WIERD.
Then I went home because I wasn't feeling well, but I feel better now.
Quick memories: Almond Joy, Sugarbush, 35mm gun, Can't keep Dick down (and Josh's reaction), swampman, and I forgot the rest I had to put down!!
How nuts is it that I'm watching "I love the 90s"? Aww...Wide Right. NOT COOL. Anyway, I mean...even I remember the 90s. I mean, Brian practically does.
Brian just called me to see if I made it home safely and if I was feeling better.
Ok so I'm done, this weekend was sweet though. Thanks to everyone for making it possible.
And thanks also to God for all the many blessings He has given me including the best Daddy in the entire world who I love more then anything.
And a belated GOD BLESS GRAHAM'S GRANDMOTHER who died last week. I'm very sorry.

Elric and his family

I'm not stupid though, I know that "Elric and his family" means "Elric's family minus Elric" and that Elric was not the person who wrote this (it had to be either his mother or father because:
a) its in English
b) he begins every email with "Salut, C'est Elric" (hi, its Elric)
c) he would never in a million years write something that cute!
AWWWWWWWW
I feel so loved!!

Anyway, yesterday the Directv man came and we chatted about Europe. Then, according to Mark, we had an affair. I must say I love him, but only because he FINALLY fixed my tv!!
Then we went to Christina and Dan's party. A great time was had by all!! We sang some awesome kareoke, got to finally see Kim again, and eat some good food. It was great. Congrats to the two of them!!

I hafta get dressed now and practice my driving. Awww, Elric.
I love my Daddy!!
ps. HAPPY BIRTHDAY FUTURE HUSBAND!!!!!!!!!! OINK TO THE MAX!! Remember yesterday when I had a ham sandwich?? hahaha, awesome. When we get married we'll eat chicken everyday and we'll have pumpkin pie and NO TUNA. And maybe Briana and Brian can come visit us sometimes or something.
Happy Birthday Brian tomorrow!!

Howdy!
Sometimes tickets come in the mail in the morning to take me from Amsterdam to Toronto! yay!! Now all I need are the tickets to get me TO Amsterdam...and a hotel in Amsterdam which I'll do after this, and...tickets to get from London to Cork...but I don't need to talk about THAT now do I? The moral of the story is I'll be gone in two weeks and it'll be mad sweet except that I'll miss everyone!!
So after last time I wrote people came over to my house to watch the first two American Pie movies and that was fun. Pretty soon Kim'll be back and then we won't be able to watch bad movies like that lol. Anyway the next day I woke up early (noonish) to get my hair cut and then I came home and wrote thank you notes and then I went to my guitar lesson and it was cool because we saw Beth and Tess who I haven't seen since my Daddy's funeral and before that since the wake and before THAT since December when we stopped going to Newman.
Hey! Right now I'm watching the Simpsons episode that's a parody on the second worst book ever written (Old man and the sea) (the worst book ever written is Intruder in the Dusk. God that was bad.) Hahahaha, Homer just hit the fish with an oar and said "I LOVE you, but I must KILL you!" hahhahaha. Oh Chilcott!!! The third worst book ever written was Wurthering Heights and that may be tied with Tale of Two Cities (shut up Kim).
sorry. random rant.
Then I went over to Brian's to hang out with Lyndsey and then Brian and I hung out for awhile and then we all went to go see Fahrenheit 911. It was awesome.
YOU MUST ALL GO SEE FAHRENHEIT 911!!
Michael Moore had the best fact checker at the New Yorker tear it apart so that ITS ALL TRUE.
And if you're of voting age, or you know someone who is, YOU NEED TO SEE THIS!!! YOU NEED TO KNOW WHO IS RUNNING OUR COUNTRY AND YOU NEED TO HELP STOP HIM!!!
Especially with Edwards and Kerry on a ticket. You know yesterday Bush took a jab at Edwards and said something like "yea well Dick Cheney could be president!" and then Kerry replied to it "Maybe that's part of the problem" ohhhhhhhhh WHAT NOW???
Hahaha, that was great.
This is the man who runs our country: "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me — you can't get fooled again."

I give up. The moral is--VOTE KERRY AND EDWARDS!!
I guess I'm going to look for a hotel in Amsterdam.
Christina and Dan's party tonight!!

I love my Daddy!

"This Edwards guy, he's going to be trouble for the Bush-Cheney ticket. He's charismatic, and that's going to hurt Cheney. And he can speak, and that's going to hurt Bush." —Jay Leno

Sometimes I'm tired because I kinda stay up until 6 in the morning watching European movies
So yesterday I spent the day planning a trip around Europe--mostly going through Expedia and trying to figure out the cheapest flight home. The cheapest flight by over $1000 was one from Dublin to Amsterdam. We're going to spend a night in Amsterdam and then fly from there to Toronto and take the airbus home. This allows for me to see my DARLING Dutch cousin while she's visiting her father AND to SEE THE ANNE FRANK HOUSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so excited!! I've been reading up on Amsterdam all night and I think it will be veeeerry interesting. Plus my Auntie said she could have people pick us up at the airport and take us around and stuff so that'll be cool I guess.
I'm excited about Anne Frank though. I like her.
Then Liz and I went to fencing and she had to teach ditching me with Greg, Ben, Noah, Chris, Steve, Lisa, Brian, and Joel. So Lisa and I tried to escape but we felt bad ditching Brian so we played Joel's buttface games until I just decided to go play ringtoss with Liz! YAY Liz! Yay ringtoss!!!!!! Then I did Epee with Brian while we sulked because SOMEONE STUPID decided that those people were ready to learn sabre.
Yes, you heard me correctly.
He tried to teach GREG DELLA POSTA, BEN MCCABE, NOAH MCSTUPID, and STEVE and um, Chris (Ben and Chris are good fencers, its just that they JUST LEARNED HOW TO FENCE and you are NOT ALLOWED to learn to fence sabre until you have MASTERED foil and can actually fence it. They cannot. no offense. but NO ONE IN THAT GROUP WHO DOESN'T ALREADY KNOW IT should learn sabre.) Also, hi, my name is the armeror...IF YOU NEED SOMETHING IN THE ARMORY TALK TO ME ABOUT IT YOU MORON--ITS MY ARMORY--I'M THE BLOODY ARMEROR!!! ok done.
In conclusion, Joel, I hate you.
Anyway, while doing Epee, Brian hit my pinky finger (the Scottish one) and it blew up like a hot air balloon and now its like, huge, but I'll pretend its not. Liz and I are currently comparing our bruises from Brian. We both have three.
Then we went to Starbucks and to Blockbuster because she wasn't allowed to stay at her house because her dad was away so she slept over and we didn't have a big sleepover because Dana, Chelsea, and Kim aren't home so we'll have a big sleepover when they come back. Well Liz and I watched Eurotrip, L'esperge Espenole, and run lola run. All of them were really good, but Eurotrip was also really really bad. Oh my God. Anyway. Good, but bad. AHH!! Then we fell asleep at 6 and woke up at like noon and I think Liz just fell asleep behind me.
I guess I should wake her up.
Party tonight because Chrissy's home!!
I love my daddy!! :)

GREAT NEWS!!!!!!!!! SO HAPPY TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, asides from that great news today, yesterday was a really great day too!
Well I made sure my alarm was set to go off at 10, but I forgot to actually make sure that it would go OFF. So I woke up at like 11:30 and then I tmed people and was like "let's go to the zoo!" then I took a shower and people said ok, and then my phone stopped working, and then Liz drove me, Phil, Brian, Dan, Christina, and Naomi to the Buffalo Zoo
It was great fun! Kelly Jackiel and Monique were both working there! And we saw bears and zebras and smews, and hyenas, and bone diggers, and mating abusive macaques, and seagulls, and....the gorilla.
I'm going to tell you a story about our little visit to the gorilla gorilla gorilla (its scientific name) and two boys who I shall only refer to hear as "DO" and "Brian". Anyway, after Liz swore in front of little children we decided to go see the gorilla (aka monkey) and someone dropped a metal pipe which scared the monkey and the monkey started freaking out and running around and we all headed over to the second window and the monkey was right there and it was scary!! So "DO" tapped on the glass and stared the monkey in the eyes and then the monkey hit the glass and ran away and it was REALLY SCARY! So then they followed it to the third window where it ignored us and then the fourth window it ran up to where Brian and DO were making faces at it and started beating the window and it was REALLY SCARY! And then he went back to eating celery. The moral of the story is: don't take boys to the zoo!!
Then Brian and I hung out at my house and Christina called and wanted to know if I wanted to go to fireworks and I did, but Brian didn't so I decided not to go and then Christina didn't really want to go either. Then Brian and I were watching Simpsons and he fell asleep so then he was up for going to fireworks when Erik randomly called and was like "let's go see fireworks" so we did. If I had a baby I would hold it and take it to the zoo and then take it to see fireworks. Good times though. Then we went to the Olympic and I was the table whore. hahaha.
the zoo + fireworks = best child's day ever!
That's all folks!
I love my Daddy!!
p.s. I love my Brian too because when he doesn't want to do things he does them because he knows I do. Also, I love him alot.

Ok enough of these cold heartless posts, I'm gonna try to get personal now, I guess.
This morning my mom woke me up and took me to St. Joes for church. I hate going to St. Joes because I don't really know anyone who goes there unless Father Jack does the mass and then its cool because random other Newman Center people are there and that's always sweet because I hate it when my church goes through a change (who am I kidding? I hate change!) and then everyone leaves. I went to the same really liberal church my whole life and suddenly some moron comes in and I hafta switch churches because he's so stupid. So St. Andy's is cool, its not what I was brought up on, but I love the people there. So I just don't like going to St. Joes and it always makes me cry. Especially today when there was this father in front of me playing with his son and when his son came back from crying the man was just so happy to see him, and I was thinking about how happy I always was to see my Daddy just because I love him so so much, that's what it would be like. Anyway, I just love my daddy so much and I started bawling in the middle of church, which I actually haven't done for like a month...ok that's a lie I did it Father's Day but that's obvious. I cried more today though. I made us leave. And then they played "Battle Hymn of the Republic" as the last song which made me really mad (read: sad) because like I love that song but they played it at all the funerals I've been to recently and I started crying and that made me think about all the times I've been crying at funerals to that song recently and I started freaking so I was like "mom, let's go!" and she was like "let's stop in the community room" so we did but *surprise!* we didn't know anyone there so we left. I miss my Daddy.
Then I came home and fell asleep while my mom went and bought stuff for the July 4th party.
I drove all the way out to my Aunt's house in Hamburg! I hate driving, but I'm getting better. I actually hung out with my cousins today, and my aunts and uncles, but I usually end up hanging by myself. I mean, I have 30 cousins--you'd think one of them would be my age!!! In family news, my cousin (burping kid) got married. Also, most of my Aunts are giving me stuff for college so that's cool. I like my family because all of my uncles are just like my Daddy...you know what I mean. Its sweet. Also it was wonderful because Dr. and Mrs. Kim came!! SURPRISE!! That was wonderful!!
We left early and I drove past city hall because we were going to see the goo goo dolls but I guess it WASN't rained out like I thought it would be. Ah, I never liked this holiday anyway! John Adams died and still we celebrate!! He said that we would celebrate July SECOND darn it.
Wow, has anyone ever noticed I'm a nerd?
You know what else? I'm just so lucky to have such a wonderful boyfriend who I love and who loves me. (Even though I love him more...:) ) The other day when we went to the movies I had a thought and I was like "ooh! I hope I can sit next to Brian!" and then I was like "duh, of course I do! I'm so lucky!" and it was just a wonderful feeling. I love you, Brian!! :)
That's all, I'm going to watch the original Stepford Wives now.
Happy 4th.

Sorry about that, guys, I fixed it so that you can all see the pictures now!!
My brother just got a new digital camera and its pretty sweet.
Anyway, (I say that alot, don't I?) today was a pretty good day.
But first, yesterday I got to hang out with Brian (for a date) for awhile and it was just the two of us, which was nice. Then Luke and Mia called and wanted to do something so they were going to join us in a game of badminton but we didn't have time so we went to the movies with Mark and Mike. We watched Dodgeball-word of advice? Only see it if you're a guy!! Then we went back to Brian's to play Spades. I love Spades even though I'm really bad at it.
Sorry best friend!
So today I woke up early to head out to Fredonia to see my camp. I missed camp!! This year I couldn't go because of graduation, but I promised my beloved roommate Liz that I would go and bring her flowers so Liz, my mom, and I headed down. It was wonderful! It always sounds this great?? Oh my God...if only the Kenmore West choir could hear them sing?? They would DIE. Its so wonderful. Apparently Mr. Sternisha didn't retire and instead ended up teaching midyear when a teacher left *sigh* that is my DREAM. Laduca leaving and Sternisha replacing him. Oh man, that would be SWEET. Ok so we stopped at Tops to get the flowers then we drove down and we had Chinese at the buffet that Dr. Kim and my Daddy always used to go to every Thursday. Last year my daddy picked me up for lunch one time while I was at camp and took me there. I love my Daddy and I miss him more then you could imagine. But then we went back and ran to McGowen to put the flowers there and make sure that we weren't late and while we were leaving I saw a girl walking and I was like "that looks like Liz, but with red hair" and she ran over and hugged me and chatted...random dorm switch?? and no Doug?? Life's not worth living!! So then we hung out and Liz talked to Phil and I played Spades and made fun of them and then we went in to the concert. *sigh* it was GREAT. I MISS CAMP!!!!!!!! Ok sorry everyone but I got to see my Liz and my Kim and it was wonderful!! There were like 50 campers--almost half men!! I knew about 10 of them (I could only name 4- Liz, Kim, Taylor, and Adam Lang) and I got to talk with Ms. Moesner who was really happy to see me and Dr. Lang who hugged and kissed me. I LOVE CAMP!! Shout out to camp people. I didn't get to talk to Sternisha, but my mom did. They sang "Save the Bones for Henry Jones" and it made me happy inside except that Nick Hardenberg (old school camp) sat in front of me. Yeaaaaaa....DOUG + AMY FOR LIFE!! I LOVE DOUG!! IN THE BEGINNING WAS THE WERD AND THE WERD WAS WITH GOD..AND THE WERD WAS GOD!!!!!! LOOOOOOOOVE CAMP!! *little yellow bug*
Anyway then I drove ALL the way home--on the Thruway and we went to Ria's graduation party and then we went to Michelle Strasser's graduation party and then we went to Naomi's for a girl's night (because the boys didn't want to watch the movie...) to watch "Love Actually" which is an AMAZING movie.
And now I'm home.
Soooo...HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY EVERYONE!
Even though its the anniversary of John Adam's death :(

Friday, July 02, 2004

Yesterday Brian, my mom, Liz and I had left over Spanakopeda and Tiriopeda and Chicken at Liz's house for dinner and it was good. After my mom left we played ImaginIff and then people came over and we hung out. We were going to watch a movie but we ended up playing Scattergories because the DVD player didn't work.
good news though! It turns out that there is a FREE SHUTTLE between SU and the Carousel Mall in Syracuse!! Woot! Also Gary Tredeau, author of Doonesbury is coming to talk to SU students!! Yay!! That's gonna be awesome. I love him!!
Anyway, I'm bored and I can't find Brian. His sister says he's not home but that could mean anything, above all that could mean he's at home. Eventually I'll just call Luke or Rob or his mom's cell phone. He'll be at one of those.
Anyway, I may or may not have a reason for having all these pictures scanned but I thought they were cool and I'm copying KT by getting a photobucket account so if you want to check out these pictures there are some fun ones in there: Pictures of Liz and Me
And also just for fun I have a few more Prom Pictures
I have a lot to do, none of which is getting done now. So enjoy these links and I'll talk to you all later!
I love my Daddy!
p.s. for a delightful satire on how my TV is feeling lately check out my brother's live journal

Maybe someone should take that link button away from me!

Thursday, July 01, 2004

OK so I had a dream last night and I decided I wanted to write about it:
So it was the last day of school and we were in 7th period. We were choosing new principals and vice principals and I only remember two of the people we chose but they were (randomly) Mike Davidson and Rodney Renard. (RANDOM!) Mr. Greco was SOOO mad! Then the bell rang and we went to 8th period-Mr. Jensen. And Mr. J had promised everyone that he would let these like trouble maker kids do this thing they've wanted to do all year--there were a bunch of them but I only randomly remember Kevin Riley?? And maybe Steve Anastasia?? Anyway they were playing "Eye of the Tiger" on like pool noodles and you know that Class of 2004 balloon I have? Yea, that. It actually sounded really cool. It was like Stomp. It was sweet. Then the bell rang and I started bawling because I would miss the school so much! Liz escorted me to the front of the building which was where we were meeting everyone and Kim and Mike Davidson came over and gave me hugs. Then Briana wanted the campfire group to sit down in the hall where they had met up the first day and they were sitting there and I was still crying and people started walking up and hugging me and someone was hugging me and then Jeff Barber walks up with his new girlfriend Angela Wolf (this is so random!!) And he was like "I get to hug her next!" and I was like uh... and then he like "bear hug attacked" me and I was like making faces at our friends who were sitting behind us and they were laughing and then Brian walks up behind them and finally Jeff leaves and Brian's like "you DO have problems!" And I was like "he attacked me! I didn't want to hug him!!" and he's like suuure suuure. and then Kim, Briana, campfire, and Liz left and Brian and I went after them but we didn't catch up with them but there were these trees that were gorgeous and they were these beautiful pinks and purples and greens and they were all over the yard and then the sky was this beautiful purple and pink too and it was really nice and then Gary came over and yelled at Brian for stepping on the grass and then there was this little kid with us, it was like Brian's cousin? But he was really cute and little and black so I don't know how it was Brian's cousin but then we passed Kim Murphy and we talked to her and then someone called Brian from across the street and he went to talk to him while I waited with his cousin and his cousin started misbehaving and that's pretty much when my mom made me wake up.
Sometimes I'm typing about a really random dream and Dan Crowe comes to my house with pictures from Naomi's party. Random McRandom but they're nice pictures so thanks Dan!
Sometimes Liz and Phil Getman are dating.
Sometimes I go to the doctor and if my cough isn't better in like 5 days I'm going to hafta go in for chest scans because I was having trouble breathing and they made me breathe in this bong like contraption and it was really wierd. Then we went to Phil's to watch "The Meaning of Life" and eat pizza.
So that's that. I just wanted to type about my random dream before I forget it.
I love you Daddy!
