Heyyyyyy...
I think this post will be about fencing. Fencing is good times. Fencing is about people. Sometimes that is a lie and it makes me a little mad. I want to tell a story about the freaking year or so that I spent with the group- Liz, Chelsea, Peter Fox and me in the beginner class. That was a really long time. But it was really fun. Steve was our teacher. How many people in our fencing class right now know Steve? First off I guess I should say about how there's only about a billion people in fencing currently, right? And NONE of the beginners or "open" (pronounced: interMEdiaTe)group even know who he was. Noah: you are NOT ALLOWED to speak his name. You can't even comprehend how wonderful he was. Your fencing ability cries in his wake. I hate you ever so much. Luckily I didn't have to teach yesterday. Don't get me wrong if you're one of my old students... I loved teaching. I loved teaching under Steve. But.... I hate it when people get snippy. That's all I hafta say about that. Butts. And now onto the good complaints:
So we're in the club meeting yesterday and Shawn (who is my hero) says, "what should we say if, for instance, someone was fencing badly and was pretty unsafe...what should you do?" (He was staring at the floor in an attempt to pretend he didn't have anyone in particular in mind.) So everybody laughs and Tom says, "Just do what you did and speak sternly to him. In fact, there's this one person who we did that to and he doesn't feel welcome here anymore..." hahaha, yea.... Shawn vs. ET in a fight. I'd like to see that one. Then Liz says, "its his own stinking fault" and we all agree and a few minutes later Tom says, "well... if you see someone doing something..." *knockknockknock* "Who is it?" "Hey guys..." WHOA!! HEY there evil twin!! Ladeda! Soooooo what were we talking about?? Yea... and then he wanted to fence me but it was my epee's first day and I DID NOT want it to break on the first try and I've never had a weapon break under my hand but I didn't want to risk it because he has this aura around him where things seem to break...for instance witness this unabridged conversation:
Me: I don't want to fence you first because I don't want it to break on its first bout. You are very strong and have been known to hurt people...
ET: if you think its going to break then you should get another one and fence with it
Me: Welll it shouldn't be like this. I've had this same foil for 5 years which is the longer than you have been fencing and its never broken.
ET: ( I am serious) That just proves you don't fence right
Graham: I've been fencing for 9 years with the same foil and its never been broken. Never had to change the blade or anything!
Me: Yea me too... that just proves that WE fence RIGHT!
ET: I broke my foil once... on you, Kelly, remember? (laughing)
Me: (not laughing) yes...
So in exciting news I fenced THREE DIFFERENT WEAPONS yesterday!!! Brian ("Golden Shoes" that is his name. There will be Brian my boyfriend, Brian the superhero/Bunnyman, and "Golden Shoes") taught me how to do sabre!! Its rough. I miss Sam. I could fence Sam if he was around. I hope he's ok. now that he's all 17 no one's seen him around. It was fun though. I still like epee better. But my first sabre bout I lost 5-4 with a la belle and a double which went to him because he had right of way. It was awesome. I was like "ohhhhhhhhh....!" lol.

Anyway.... Tom said some really nice things about us in lineup. He said stuff like "watch Kelly and Liz because they rock and they fence the right way... the CLASSICAL FRENCH FENCING WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" yea! In your face buttheads who think Italian is ok!! haha LOSERS!! Tom's very fun.

What's with AIM and its stupid pop ups?? Rah!

You know what's cute? So many people are hooking up now!!! Hurrah for the newest couple Mimi and Andy!! Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Mimi! You're so wonderful and you deserve someone wonderful and he sounds great!! YAY!!!

And here's the ditzy awesome quote that (no offense my Liz, I love you!!) sounds like Bratz (that's a complement!! I love Bratz!!) : "We get done at like 6ish..so we gotta meet the boys at 830..i figured i'd shower do my nails then take the rest of the time to do my makeup and hair"

Looking forward to good times this weekend!! :)
