So...I don't go to Kenmore West anymore.
I'm going to miss it a lot. I'm going to miss the community we have there, and knowing what's going on with everyone and knowing everyone around. That's not going to be cool. I'm going to miss gossip :( and Starbucks. And everything else. And I'm going to miss people who I won't see anymore. This stinks.
But anyway, we've spent the past couple days partying hard. Friday was an awesome party at Mang park for the 20 of us Cove people. It was a great time. Lots of food and a lot of great people showed up. Thanks for coming everyone, I hope you had a great time! That was fun though. We got into some crazy games of AP Keep the Ball Up with about 40 people and a huge ball Jay Goldstien and Meghan O'Connor brought. It was awesome. Also there was a very intense game of Red Rover--I would just like to say that I did not cheat running back to the good line-- I specifically went for Mike and Marie because I thought they were the toughest link and I knew they wouldn't let go. That morning we went in for the class picture and Liz and I spent the early morning buying lots of food. Then Brian, Liz, and I made food all afternoon before the party.
And now I'm going to link to KT's pictures from the party because I love her and I'm very sorry for her! We love you KT!!!!
Pictures of kickball by KT Those are awesome! Thanks KT!
I went home after the party because it was pretty tiring and I had to go home and clean my house after CERTAIN little boys (David, Greg Della Posta, Rich Kennedy, Adam "Elric" McCabe, Erik Kaufman, Joey Ostroff, James Irracci) who made my house into a very intense mess. I fell asleep on the couch instead.
Then I woke up Saturday in time to go with Liz to Andy Banchich's brunchparty which was pretty cool and there were people there we don't usually hang out with (Leah Rankin, Colin Griffin, Laura Bowen, Ellen Walthers, Liz Stancliff, Joe Sleap, and Chris Arnet) but it was fun and interesting. Then we went home and I went to pick up my Aunt Madeleine and Grandma at the airport. On the way home I was dropped off at Dan Bostaph's house which, of course, was fun, but I wasn't able to stay nearly as long as I would have liked because I hadta go home and clean. This time I actually did clean. Then my family made a brief stop at Elizabeth's party so I could see the man I will someday marry (besides Erik) and then I went home and finished cleaning my house.
Sunday we went to church in the morning and then we went to Graduation. Graduation was really nice, it was just so sad because a) I won't see these people again and b) my daddy wasn't there and I miss him. I mean, I know he was there in spirit but I REALLY missed him being there physically. I love you Daddy! Anyway, the ceremony wasn't as long as I would have guessed, and I had a pretty good seat. Choir sang "Seasons of Love" from Rent and "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (the later sounded better than expected....except have I ever mentioned that certain people should not have been given solos if they can't sing? This should be a rule. If you can't sing, you don't get a solo and that's that! AKA certain peoples exboyfriends...) I didn't cry...I almost did twice, but I didn't let myself. I also counted the people in the class who I had never once seen or heard of before and I got 50 people even. Not bad for a class of 400! Brian gave me a rose at the end because he's awesome and I love him!! <3 then we set up a date to hang out with Ms. Widman because we're nerds.
Afterwards my family and some family friends came over for a party. It was nice, but they all pretty much randomly left at like, 8:45. And then at like 9 alot of my friends came over and scared the people who were left. Some people (my boyfriend) had spikey mohawks with pinwheels in them and by them I mean it. He's funny looking, but I like him :) anyway around 10 when my party ended we headed to Naomi's and then we went to Kim's where we hung out until about midnight.
I did well in the gift department. Favorites include my trip to Europe, a hair straightener, and over $1000....
Thank you everyone.
Congrats to all graduates! LONG LIVE THE CLASS OF 2004!! I LOVE YOU ALL!
And now onto Syracuse '08...yeesh.
